Brad Reed from BGR.com reports that laws vary by state on whether or not Police can track your cell phone without a warrant. To help you understand what the current laws and procedures are in your state regarding cell phone tracking, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has created an interactive map that’s worth visiting.

As the author points out, what’s interesting is that some states require no warrants to track your phone. While other states like California, Utah, Montana, Virginia and Massachusetts have the strongest requirements.
